Teacher with over a decade of experience teaching piano, music theory, guitar, vocals & music technology

Simon is an incredible musician and wonderful human being. It is a rare thing to create music with someone who has such a combination of skill, experience, musical ear and positive energy. He is an incandescent natural talent and an absolute pleasure to play with!

Simon is a classically trained musician with over 20 years of performing experience, making music with choirs, bands and as a soloist. He has been teaching since 2010, first at Get Sorted Academy of Music in Rotherham before going freelance and teaching from his home in Greenhill, Sheffield.

Over his teaching career he has put dozens of pupils through all levels of piano and music theory examinations, including ABRSM and Trinity Rock School, and has provided tuition and guidance for pupils taking Music and Music Tech BTEC and GCSE. He is also an experienced teacher of adult & senior musicians, both beginners and those needing some revision, and is happy to teach outside the exam system.
